After Golden Globe and Screen Actors nods, it seemed like Pamela Anderson was a shoo-in for an Oscar nomination. The Baywatch star who garnered lots of buzz for her turn as a Vegas dancer at a crossroads when her show is canceled, came up short Thursday (01.23,) when Oscar nominations were announced. Others who made the snubbed list were Gladiator II‘s Ridley Scott and Denzel Washington as well as Angelina Jolie, who got rave reviews for her portrayal of opera singer Maria Callas. Emilia Perez however, led nominations with 13 while The Brutalist and Wicked tied at 10.
