The search is on for the high school-age Elle Woods – and who better to find her than Reese Witherspoon, who originated the role in the 2001 movie Legally Blonde and it’s 2003 sequel?! The Prime Video prequel series – titled “Elle” – will tell the origin story of Elle Woods as a 1990’s high schooler. In a sit down with Jimmy Fallon, Witherspoon talked about the tough job of casting the young her (below).
