On Sunday, 37-year-old Super Bowl champion Richard Sherman (Seattle Seahawks) took to social media to post pictures and a video asking for help finding three armed intruders. The intruders broke into Sherman’s house last weekend while his family was there. Sherman said: “House being robbed at gunpoint with my family in it isn’t what anyone wants for a birthday gift. Scary situation that my wife handled masterfully and kept my kids safe. If anyone has any info that can help find these people please reach out.” Unfortunately, Sherman isn’t alone. Other NFL stars like Kansas City quarterback Patrick Mahomes, Cincinnati quarterback Joe Burrow, and Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce have also been victims of home invasion. Other athletes, like NBA players Luka Doncic of the Los Angeles Lakers, Bobby Portis of Milwaukee, Mike Conley Jr. of Minnesota, and Pittsburgh Penguins star Evgeni Malkin have also been targeted.
