Eminem’s mom Debbie Nelson has passed away following a battle with advanced Lung Cancer. Nelson who was 69, died Monday, (12.02,) in Missouri. Over the years, Eminem’s been transparent about the dysfunctional relationship he shared with Nelson alleging neglect and abuse in songs like, Cleanin’ Out My Closet. Debbie sued him for defamation in 1999. Nelson also wrote a tell-all 2007 memoir, My Son Marshall, My Son Eminem. In recent years the two reportedly made attempts to reconcile.
