I haven’t been able to stop talking about Piece by Piece since it dropped in theaters last fall (2024). The documentary now streaming on Peacock, tells the story of music artist/producer Pharrell Williams and his rise to fame. Unlike other films in the genre, this one’s told through Lego animation, which probably sounds bizarre to anyone who hasn’t seen it, but Williams makes it work so well, it almost begs the question, why is this the first time someone did this? Even before the movie dropped, it was no secret that Pharrell oozes creativity, but Piece by Piece gives us a more in-depth look at how next level the right side of his brain actually is.
